The late Ghanaian actor and movie producer Eric Asante
whose sudden demise took the country by surprise on December 5, 2013 at a
sudden cardiac arrest will finally be laid to rest in Kumasi.
According to the PRO for the Film Producers’ Association of Ghana Michael Ola who disclosed this information to www.nydjlive.com, the body will be laid in state at 4am till 9am at the Kumasi Cultural Center on Saturday January 18th 2014 thence to the Ayigya cemetery after which the final funeral rites will be held at the forecourt of the FIPAG office at the Cultural Center.
Eric Asante, who until his untimely demise was a member of FIPAG and the CEO of No Limit Productions, a company that produced movies such as Lil Win in Belgium. He acted in movies such as Ohia Asoma Wo, Dangerous Mission, Evil Heart and many others.
Expected to be in attendance are industry professionals, fans and the general public.
