Dumelo Grabs Buttocks

John Dumelo holding the buttocks of pretty Harriet
The sexy buttocks of a young and beautiful Ghanaian lady, whose name was only given as Harriet, became the centre of attraction after popular actor John Dumelo tried playing with them in public.
John took a stern but erotic look at the lady’s sexy buttocks as his two hands held on tight to her waist. Fortunately,NEWS-ONE captured a few shots.
It was as if the popular actor wanted to say, “All I want is her waist.”
John Dumelo is known for playing such jokes in public, mostly on colleague actresses.
He was caught on several occasions faking a kiss with Yvonne Nelson and also trying to touch some actresses on vital places.
But he took it a step further this time by trying his pranks on a non-actress and also playing the ‘buttocks antics’ for the first time in public.
The incident took place at the lobby of the National Theatre in Accra on December 29 when respected and award winning Ghanaian actress Yvonne Okoro’s first produced movie, The Contract, was being premiered.
Harriet was at the premiering event as a working agent for Samsung.
She was among a bevy of ladies who were distributing flyers of Samsung’s new camera and introducing the product to movie enthusiasts.
She decided to have a photo opportunity with John who was one of the invited guests at the premiere, and in the full glare of media cameras, the actor decided to take a wild pose with her, holding on to the lady’s waist while he stared at her buttocks.

Yvonne Okoro’s Contract Named Movie Of The Year 2012

Actress Yvonne Okoro’s first movie as a producer,The Contract, directed by Shirley Frimpong Manso, is doing wonders in Ghana’s movie industry.
The movie’s premiere at Ghana’s National Theatre on December 28 turned out to be a huge success.
It was a sold-out event with a lot of movie enthusiasts patronising it. Tickets got finished ahead of the premiere, leaving a lot of movie enthusiast stranded without tickets.
It was a one-show premiere event and every seat at the auditorium of the theatre was occupied. Some patrons had to stand on their feet to enjoy the movie.
Weeks ago, the movie broke Silverbird Ghana records. A lot of movie enthusiasts had queued to watch the movie since it started showing at the Silverbird Cinemas from December 29.
Two cinema halls had been allocated for the movie’s screening but there seemed to be some pressure due to patronage.
Ghana local radio station, Citi fm, reportedly named The Contract movie of the year 2012. The movie is expected to break into Nollywood cinemas very soon.
It will also premiere in South Africa before it finally goes out of the African continent.
The Contract tells the story of a successful businessman Peter Puplampo, the ultimate alpha male played by South Africa’s award winning actor Hlomla Dandala.
He is 40 years old, rich and a staunch bachelor. Despite his mother’s persistent attempts to find him a woman, Peter sticks to his rule of non-committal casual dates, freedom and being in control of his life until the desire to have a child arises.
In his quest to find the woman who will take his money, have his child and disappear, Peter begins a roller-coaster, contracted relationship with Abena Boateng (Yvonne Okoro), a crude but clever local girl who is anything but impressed with Peter’s affluence.
With a clear definitive contract from his lawyer outlining the dos and don’ts of bearing Peter Puplampo’s child, these two opposites must exercise every ounce of willpower not to kill each other until the child is born.
The movie is an unsuspecting romantic comedy with unusual twists that expose the flaws in being in control of one’s life.
It also stars Joseph Benjamin from Nollywood and introduces Ghanaian award winning model, Joycelyn Nketia

Kaakyire Kwame Appiah Steals Samuel Owusu Song

Kaakyire Kwame Appiah
One may expect that veteran Ghanaian musician, Kaakyire Kwame Appiah, has been in Ghana’s entertainment for a long time, and as such matters concerning copy right law should not be difficult for him to understand.
However latest happenings in the industry seem to suggest otherwise. The Yee Kodi Blonya (31st) crooner may need some form of education on copyright law.
Reliable information reaching  GH-Entertainment  indicates that Kaakyire Kwame Appiah and fellow popular high life musician Samuel Owusu may be heading to the court over a clear copyright issue which could have been prevented by Kaakyire.
“Kaakyire has allegedly used one of Samuel Owusu’s popular songs titled Abusua Kyirika for his newly-produced movie without permission from Samuel Owusu,” a source told the paper.
The movie was based on the story of the song which was released some many years ago when highlife used to be the most patronized music in Ghana. Interestingly the movie bears the same title as the song.
Samuel has reportedly threatened to go to court to seek redress but Kaakyire has been sending top members of Samuel’s family as well as colleague top musicians to apologize on his behalf.
Meanwhile, Samuel has not given any indication that he will let go.
The movie, which stars Joe Shortingo, Ghana’s Lil Wayne, Akrobotu, Katawere and a number of others, according to sources, had already been released on the Twi movie market and is selling like hot cake.
When contacted, Kaakyire refused to speak with GH-Entertainment about the issue.
He did not deny or confirm the story but assured the paper that he would speak at the appropriate time.

We Kill Babies: Anas In Juju Saga

The accused persons with the prosthetic baby and a police officer (middle)
Investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas has managed to get some dreaded witch doctors to confess on video that they literally kill babies, during an undercover operation that has raised questions on whether the journalist is using some spiritual powers to enhance his profession.
Anas had gone undercover to expose some powerful witch doctors whose job was to kill any child born with a disability, because such a child is believed to have evil powers that would bring misfortune to the parents and their neighbors.
The said powerful witch doctors operate at Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region and some parts of the Northern Region and one of them was seen in the video confessing in his local dialect:
“We kills babies who would bring bad luck to their parents. I have personally killed over 100 of such babies by preparing a special type of poison for them.
“Some of them manage to escape the poison and do not die but a majority of them die anyway. We bury them in the forest and put huge black stones on them so that animals do not eat them up.”
Anas said he presented an 18-month-old baby to the witch doctors and told them his business had never seen prosperity after the birth of the child.
The concoction men, after some spiritual consultations with ‘divinity’, then told him that the child was the source of his misfortunes and therefore must be killed through a specially brewed poison.
He said the killers charged him an equivalent of $40, three live fowls and some bottles of hard liquor after which an appointment was fixed for them to come to his home and feed the child with the concoction.
“I had contracted a London-based company to produce a prosthetic baby in the exact replica of the 18-month-old child because I was not very sure what might happen.
When they came, they saw the real child but after they had prepared the poison and were about to kill the innocent boy, I swapped it with the prosthetic baby and that was when the Police swooped in and took over.
Every single thing was being recorded secretly and the Police were in a separate room, monitoring everything on CCTV,” Anas noted.
Residents of Bolgatanga have expressed utter shock that such dreaded and powerful witch doctors could not see that they were dealing with an undercover agent.
“He must be using some powerful juju because the witch doctors see everything in a man’s heart.
If you go to them, they know your mission and whether it is a good one or a bad one.
So why did they not see that Anas had a bad motive if he himself is not using some strong juju?” Fiazal Omar, a Bolga resident wondered in a chat with NEWS-ONE.
This is about the third time the issue of whether or not Anas is using juju has come up.
In 2009, during an undercover job in Bimbila, a cattle owner had ordered his cattle to attack Anas, but the journalist spoke a strange language to the cows and they calmed down.
Again, during the recent undercover work that exposed a certain quack doctor who raped his patients, Anas was said to have walked through a wall during the investigation when a nurse saw him planting a camera and raised an alarm.
