NO BAD BLOOD BETWEEN MYSELF & PREZ MAHAMA

High life artiste, Lucky Mensah, has broken his silence over a new record label perceived as being critical of the Mahama-Ied government.

According to the artiste, public speculations about the song dubbed "ESI ARABA" are misplaced and untrue.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with The Enquirer via phone, Lucky Mensah said the song has got nothing to do with politics.

"Lyrics in the song are not borne out of malice because there is no bad blood between me, the NDC and President Mahama for that matter," he emphasized.

Lucky Mensah has recently come under a barrage of attacks following the release of a seven- track album titled "ESI ARABA."

The song since its release has been subjected to intense attacks as being critical of the government. Propaganda spin doctors in the opposition political parties, particularly the NPP, have capitalized on the situation to score points.

Lucky Mensah said the track was part of the SUM AKWADU album released in 2004, adding the latest one is remix of the old track. "If the song was meant to attack Mahama and his NDC why then was it first released in 2004?" He argued.

The artiste continued that in the heat of campaigning ahead of election 2012, he contributed his quota through music.

He therefore could not fathom why he will now turn his back to the party for no unclear reason. "Such an action would have amounted to a complete betrayal and I am not out there to do such a thing," Lucky maintained.
