A new photograph of popular Ghanaian
actress, Akorfa Ejeani Asiedu, in which she had completely shaved her
hair to skull, is generating some excitement on media platforms.
The hairless photo popped up not long ago after the premiere of her latest movie, A Letter From Adam, but there are doubts about when it was taken, why Akorfa shaved her hair and why it is now in the public domain.
The seasoned actress was last seen in public when she attended the new movie’s premiere on September 19 at the Silverbird Cinemas in Accra. She had her hair on at that event.
It is yet to be confirmed if she decided to shave it after the premiering event or she had done that several years ago and had now found it right to release the snapshot of it.
Meanwhile, sources told News-One that the ‘I Sing Of A Well’ actress and her household were mourning. She lost her sister weeks ago, ahead of the new movie’s premiere, and had been wearing black clothes since then.
Akorfa remains one of Ghana’s veteran actresses who are still relevant in Africa’s movie industry. She is currently respected across the continent and beyond.
