Sarkodie just released a mixtape he recorded at Possi Gee’s studio titled “Free Press”.
In the song, Obidi expressed his dissatisfaction about how Ghanaian journalists use their platforms to talk ill of Ghanaian artistes including himself but raise Nigerians and other foreign musicians high.
Repeating what he told Hiplife grand papa Reggie Rockstone in the song which made the Hiplife originator suggest that Sarkodie deserves a statue, Obidi said the media do not follow him when he travels to Los Angeles for BET award but they tweet to talk against him.
Comparing the Ghanaian media to that of Nigerians, he said they follow their artistes to BET to boost their morale to work harder.
“If you cannot help, please leave us a lone. Support our own. Fuse ODG, R2bees and myself are trying hard and we need your support. Stop talking like fans,” Sarkodie told Ghanaian journalists in his new mixtape “Free Press”.
Angry Sarkodie further advised journalists in Ghana to work harder to also get the chance of being on international media houses.
