R2Bees, one of Ghana’s most popular
hiplfe groups, will be the main artistes to watch out for on Friday,
August 22 at a musical concert to be held at Armenia Ballroom, 630, 2nd
Avenue, New York in the United States.
Made up of Paedae da Pralem and Mugeez, the Ghanaian music duo has over the years held its own and still stands as one of the best music groups in the country. They would be performing live on stage with artistes such as 2 Shy, Criss Waddle, Nana NYC and a host of others.
The event is being organised by R2Bees Entertainment in collaboration with Safo Entertainment, CHALE and Africalabash.
R2Bees has headlined various concerts across the country and also carved a niche for giving audiences memorable performances to last a lifetime at every single event the members of the group have performed.
Currently, one of the popular music groups on the continent, R2Bees, a name derived from the group’s mantra, ‘Refuse To Be Broke’, has remained relevant in the African music scene since its debut hit single ‘Yawa Girl’ in August 2009.
Signed to its own label, R2Bees Entertainment, the ‘Life’, ‘Odo’, ‘I Dey Mad Ooh’, ‘Afrika’, ‘Slow down’ and ‘Up In Da Klub’ hit-makers have shared the same stage with internationally acclaimed music stars including Chris Brown, Trey Songz, Fabulous and Red Café.
R2Bees has also performed in several countries including United Kingdom, United States of America and the Netherlands, and also collaborated with artistes such as UK’s Tinchy Stryder and Nigerian musicians, Wizkid, Davido and Wande Coal.
