Ace Highlife musician, Awurama Badu has appealed to
Ghanaians especially the elderly folks, to desist from castigating the
new wave of Ghanaian music known popularly as "Azonto" as well as its
dance moves.
According to her, time is fast changing and the world needs to adapt and so are music and dance.
Speaking on Adom TV news, Awurama revealed, she is a great fan of the Azonto songs and can do the dance accordingly.
“There is time for everything; the oldies have had their fair share of the cake and now is the time for the young,” she added.
She however advised the youth not to copy blindly but rather copy to develop one’s lifestyle.
Awurama Badu is still strong and vibrant and has promised her fans a thrilling performance this valentine season in Tema.
The popular musician made the hit with songs such as "Komkom", "Medofo adaada me" and "Emelia".
