A number of Ghanaian celebrities who
have carved a niche for themselves in the music industry have endorsed
the ‘One Ghana Concert’ slated to take place on December 7, at the Trade
Fair in Accra.
A source close to the organisers of the event disclosed that some of the celebrities were happy such an event was being organised.
The event which aims at unifying Ghanaians through music, has been launched in Accra. It would bring together people from all 10 regions to celebrate the peace Ghana has enjoyed during and after the Supreme Court verdict.
The source disclosed that some of the celebrities who have endorsed the event include Gyedu Blay Ambolley, Reggie Rockstone, Okyeame Kwame, MUSIGA President Obuor, Stephanie Benson, Daddy Bosco, actor Nii Saka Brown and AJ Nelson.
Others are Kofi Tsikata of the World Bank, radio presenter Sammy B, filmmaker Socrates Sarfo among others.
According to organizers, Fiesta, a digital television channel which promotes 100% Ghanaian music, the free for all concert would witness performances from a number of celebrated musicians.
