SARKODIE WINS BEST WEST AFRICAN ACT @ CARIBBEAN AMERICAN AND AFRICAN NATIONS MUSIC AWARDS

Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie added another trophy to his growing collection of awards when he won the Best African Act Award at the Caribbean American and African Nations Music Awards held in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, Nigeria last Friday.

The event, packaged by the Silverbird Group in partnership with the Bayelsa State Tourism Development Agency had in attendance top international and local artistes, showbiz heavyweights, captains of industries and foreign dignitaries.

The awards ceremony witnessed top performances by Jamaican-American rapper Sean Kingston, South Africa’s Mafikizolo, alongside top Nigerian artistes Kcee, Waconzy, Timaya, Morachi, Daddy Showkey, General Pype and 2Face.
