ADJETEY ANANG: ONLY GHANAIAN TO WIN GIAMA

Actor Adjetey Anang popularly called Pusher was the only Ghanaian movie actor who picked an award at the just ended 2nd Golden Icons Academy Movie Awards (GIAMA) which was held at Stafford Centre Performing Arts Theater in Houston, Texas on October 19.

Adjetey picked the Best Actor award for the movie, ‘The Hunters’ at the ceremony which was hosted by Nollywood star Ramsey Nouah.
Adjetey beat giant actors like Majid Michel (Brother’s Keeper), Kalu Ikeagwu (False), Hlomla Dandala (Contract), O.C Ukeje (Alan Poza) and Yemi Blaq (Bridge of Hope) to win the award.


‘The Hunters’ also picked another award on the night; Producer of the Year which went to Abdul Salam Mumini, producer and CEO of Venus Films Production.
