Sarkodie, has told NEWS-ONE that his fashion brand, Sark Collection, would begin sale of female jeans and underwear, G-strings and shoes. In an interview with the tabloid, Sarkodie said: “I am currently working on Sarkology.

That is my new album coming out which has Illumanati, Gunshot, the new one with Fuse; Down On One, Halleluyah, Lies and more. This is basically a double CD album which is coming out.

We are not too sure about the date but it has to come out before December and we have videos coming out as well. Aside music, we are also working on the Sark Collections. We have the new collections coming in by January. We have new designs for the snapback caps, shoes for ladies, jeans for ladies, underwear for ladies and ….”

He explained, “Well not me designing G-string for ladies per say. You know I have a partner who designs most of the stuff. She is a lady and we have also realized that we have a lot of females patronizing the shop, so we decided to capitalize on that and meet their needs. I have not seen the ladies underwear myself but I believe they would be nice. I have seen the pictures of the other products.”

SHATTA WALE GOES ‘MAD’!..HE THREATENS TO SUE GRAPHIC SHOWBIZ IF....

Reigning Dancehall King “Inna de whole” Ghana, Shatta Wale and his Shatta Movement crew, are very furious after reports that African Dancehall King Samini outshined him on stage at the just ended “Guinness Big Eruption Concert” which took place at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday, November 23 2013.

Speaking in an exclusive interview on Neat 100.9 FM’s sensational talk show “Me Man Enti”, hosted by Adabre Frimpong Manso, the “Enter the net” hit maker vented his anger on the leading entertainment newspaper in Ghana “Graphic Showbiz” warning them not to publish anything about him again, and even went ahead to threaten court action, if the well-respected paper decides to go against his warning.

“Like what Graphic Showbiz has written, I can say in my life that I don’t want any publication from Graphic Showbiz again in my life, because when I find it I can sue them. I don’t need them to hype me; I don’t need them to say anything about me. They are nobody”, he stated with so much anger.

Shatta Wale, formerly known as Bandana’s reaction came after two different reports on the event (One from Graphic Showbiz and one from Daily Graphic) were published on Monday November 25, stating categorically that “Rising music sensation, Shatta Wale, left many of his fans livid after he failed to live up to the challenge of the durable Samini at the Guinness Eruption Concert Saturday night, at the Accra Sports Stadium” (Quoted from a Daily Graphic report by Issac Yeboah).

Another report was published on the front page of Monday’s edition of Graphic Showbiz by Francis Doku, with the headline “Samini Floors Shatta Wale”.

Shatta Wale was also not happy about the fact that he is always being compared to Samini, siting that as one of the reasons why he can’t stop using certain unprintable words on his competitor.

He blamed the media for creating that unnecessary competition between him and Samini. “I will only do that when people stop comparing me and Samini in this industry because what I am doing is different from what he is doing. So that is why people have to talk to him and his people and others is in the media, that they should stop comparing me to him”, he stated when a panel member on the show, told him to try and stop using swear words.

He emphasized that for as long as he is being compared to Samini, he would always come hard to make his fans happy. “When they rate me and him like that, I will always make sure that his fans feel bad because my fans also feel bad when they hear him or his fans also saying things about me which I can’t stand, and not defend my fans”.

Asked if he thinks he was able to use the big platform to enhance his music career, Shatta said “Well I used it the best way I could use it”, adding that an official of Guinness, sponsors of the show, spoke to his management and that of Samini not perform any of their “Diss” songs on stage, so he tried as much as he can to put up a “clean show”.

The man of the moment said he only made certain statements on stage because he needed to clear some things that had been said about him. “It was just that those comparison and other things that people were saying about me, I had to clear it on stage”.

Reacting to reports that his family is not too happy about some of his utterances and his attitude in general, Shatta Wale said “Do you know my father came to the show with me? My father actually gave me security and convoy. My father gave me his brand new Jaguar to come to the Guinness show”.

Shatta also disclosed that his father applauded him after his performance and gave him an amount of $3,000 to go for shopping for a good job done. He denied allegations that he was sacked from home because he is a troublesome boy, and stating that his family is aware that he is a straight forward person and they are happy about it.

Before last Saturday’s concert, most people thought the unrest between Shatta Wale and Samini was going to be over and done with but from what is going on now, it appears the game is just begging as Peacefmonline.com is reliably informed that a major Accra based Radio Station is planning another Samini and Shatta Wale showdown event, this Christmas.

REVEALED! JOHN DUMELO NAMES HOTEL 'MASELO'

Still maintaining his accolade as one of the most business-minded movie stars in Africa, Ghanaian talented and handsome actor, John Dumelo, has managed to raise millions of dollars through hard work, and has invested in a huge hotel.

Even before the establishment of the hotel, the award-winning Ghanaian actor was known for establishing other businesses of social benefits. Aside acting, the John Dumelo Foundation which is very operational, presented an amount of GH¢3,000 to the Students Financial Aid Office of the University of Ghana, Legon.

He donated the money as a scholarship package for two students who were brilliant but lacked the financial backing to complete their courses at the University.

John Dumelo has also visited several deprived schools and homes across Africa to donate some school items to them.

In a phone chat with nigeriafilms.com correspondent in Ghana (Mustapha Ayinde Inusah Aka Attractive), he confirmed that he has finished building the hotel but because he was planning to do a massive opening of the place on 1st December, 2013, he has decided to keep things on low ebb.

John Dumelo, who has lots of love for people in deprived areas and the destitute, is doing his best to contribute his quota to the society.

He added that the name of the hotel shall be officially called Maselo Court Apartments.

Why the name Maselo Apartment Hotel, he said “I coined the name from my full name John Mathew Kofi Setor Dumelo.”

We have had the privilege of visiting Maselo Court Apartments located in East Airport and we must confess it qualifies as one of the A- Class apartments hotels in Ghana.

IT’S HARD WORK, NOT ‘JUJU’ -SHATTA WALE SAYS ABOUT CURRENT SUCCESS

Until his unsavoury outburst at the last Ghana Music Awards which underlined his  controversial character and set tongues wagging against him, Shatta Wale was not a name  many would  have loved to scream out at a concert.

Well, that definitely is not the case these days.  The self-acclaimed dancehall king has taken over the airwaves with his music and endeared himself to many with his attention-catching commandeering stage performance. He is ‘the man of the moment.’

It is a feat that has attracted widespread rumours of Shatta Wale sourcing ‘supernatural’ powers  for his present successes.  The dancehall man, however, dismisses those assertions.

He told Showbiz last Tuesday that  though he had heard of such stories floating around, he was not perturbed. To him, the existence of those rumours indicate that he was doing something right which had knocked out everyone on the music scene.
"I have not done any ‘juju’. I have heard of all those comments and speculations but they are not true. In this world, everything is about  perseverance and motivation.

“When you persevere, you conquer and that is what has brought me this far. I have been around music and show business for a long time and I’m more focused now than ever before.

“I have had many people say that I have swallowed a copy of the Koran. Some say I have simply sought spiritual fortification through the Koran but that is not true.”

He has been  praised for saving the otherwise poorly organised 4syte Music Video Awards over the weekend with his  outstanding performance on the night. He toldShowbiz  he feels possessed anytime he mounts the stage to  perform.

“Before I step on stage, I communicate with God and ask for power to deliver well. I feel possessed and get crazy on stage, especially when I see the fans chant my name.  I will definitely feel down when I come on stage and people do not hail me,” he stated.

Known previously as Bandana, the artiste said he changed his name to depict his maturity and the new direction  he intended to give  his music.

“Shatta in Jamaica means ‘killer.’ For me, however, I see the positive side  of every situation so my Shatta  means ‘serious’ and it shows that I am a serious and focused artiste”.

Shatta Wale, who went into hiatus after releasing his Mokohoo (Bandana from Ghana) track in 2005, said that he used that period of absence to improve his skills as a musician and a performer.

He courted the anger of the public last May during the Ghana Music Awards when he hurled insults at the organisers, Charterhouse for not clinching the Dancehall Artiste of the Year. The award went to Kaakie.

He, however, parried the view that his behaviour at the event  was a publicity stunt  that has helped him hit  the limelight.

REGGIE ROCKSTONE TO MEDIATE IN SAMINI AND SHATTA WALE FEUD

[NYDjLive] Originator of popular music genre hiplife Reginald Osei aka Reggie Rockstone and at times referred to as Grandpapa has disclosed he has made giants steps at resolving the current feud between top Ghanaian dancehall acts Samini and Shatta Wale although he earlier felt they were only expressing their disagreements through music.

Speaking to NY DJ on the Kapital Entertainment Unplugged Show on Kapital Radio over the weekend, the CEO of Django bar disclosed; “Beefs and disagreements among artists are normal just as people disagree and argue on many issues in their various homes, people don’t fight because they disagree, No!! The only difference here is that Samini and Shatta Wale are musicians so they only put their disagreements and arguments in a music form cos that’s how they communicate”.

Furthering his argument, he stated that although he believed both artists were not violent and would not engage in any rowdy confrontations, it was increasingly becoming worrying as both acts had growing movements who are fanatics and would go any mile to keep their idols on top.

He stated, he had therefore initiated a move to get both acts at a round table to trash out their disagreements and find a better way of making money than creating confusion among the music loving fans as he believed any clash between fanatics of both camps would mean no shows for them which will make life unbearable for them.

In a related development, the PRO for MUSIGA, Okyeame Kwame also disclosed on the same show that MUSIGA was worried about the recent happenings in the dancehall fraternity and was working at resolving the impasse.

TRIBUTES: BRIGHT AND OTHER STARS MOURN LATE BUK BAK MEMBER, RONNIE COACHES

The surviving member of the sensational music group, Buk Bak, Prince Bright (Bling Sparkles) has said he is yet to come to terms with the sudden death of his other hald, Ronnie Coaches.

Ronnie, 36, died Thursday morning at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital after a heart attack. Buk Bak, known for several hit songs including ‘Klu Brofo’, ‘Akwasi Broni’ and ‘Kolom’, was versatile and rapped in Ga, Twi, and Pidgin, and was the first hip-life group in Ghana to make a successful career out of Ga music.
Bright, fighting a losing battle to hold back his tears, told Hitz Entertainment News from New York, USA, in an exclusive interview, he was shattered by the news.

In a sorrowful tone, he said, “I didn’t take it pretty well at all. You know he is more like my better half. We complete each other. We’ve been like brothers since day one [and] knowing that he is no more it’s a bit crazy.”

Bright said from their school days at the Accra Technical Training Centre (ATTC) in the late 1990s, they all had big dreams. He said he realized that Ronnie “had this energy that could add to the group that we had.”

Asked what he will miss most about his former music partner, Bling Sparkles said Ronnie “is full of energy. Whenever you are down he is the one to help you up. We get crazy, we fight, we argue over simple stuffs and then we laugh about it.”

Bright disclosed that, although he was in the United States, Ronnie, single handedly “started working on our promotion” and “we had a video shoot” in the pipeline.

He said he was putting “things together ASAP (As Soon As Possible) and get back to come take care of my brother. I should be back as soon as possible.”

He used the interview to advise fellow musicians, expecially those who are publicly abusing each other, to cherish and value each other and be grateful for their lives.

“It’s not necessary, all that beef can get us killed you know. Once you have life, you have everything and we should be grateful for the life of each other because God grants life and as long as you have life, you should be grateful and thankful. We should be each other’s keeper,” Bright advised.
