Hong Kong superstar Jackie Chan has announced upcoming movie 'Chinese Zodiac' will be his last major action adventure.
The
Kung Fu master will scale back on lead roles after the film premieres
in China next month, and he hopes to devote more time to charity work.
Chan
plans to rely more on special effects technology in future big screen
outings as he admits stunts have become increasingly difficult to
perform as he approaches 60.
He tells Reuters, "I'm not young any
more, honestly. Why (do) I have to use my own life to still do these
kind of things? I will still do as much as I can. But I just don't want
to risk my life to sit in a wheelchair, that's all."
However, the 58 year old is confident fans will love 'Chinese Zodiac', in which he plays a treasure hunter.
He
adds, "I'm the director, I'm the writer, I'm the producer, I'm the
action director, almost everything. This really, really is my baby. You
know, I've been writing the script for seven years."

I have had unprotected sex with 300 women - Wanlov the Kubolor
Controversial Ghanaian Pidgin rapper Wanlov
the Kubolor has granted yet another mind-boggling interview with
television presenter Delay, during which he disclosed that he has four
children with four different women.Kubolor also said he currently has active sex mates numbering between 10 and 15 and that he has over the years had unprotected sex with some 300 different women.
“I know they would be more than 300 but not up to 500. I believe I have had sex with about 300 of them - both young and old.
One was as young as 17 but she does not look it. Sometimes they are as old as 49 or 50,” Wanlov noted.
Speaking on the rebranded Delay Show on Viasat 1 last Friday, Wanlov said though he had heard all the education about HIV, he preferred to have unprotected sex because he did not enjoy using condoms.
“I have heard about HIV but I do not think about it just like I always walk bare footed and I do not think of the possibility of something piercing or cutting my feet.”
Interestingly, the musician said he had not performed any marital rites for any of the four women who had children for him.
He explained: “For me, I don’t believe in the concept of marriage. I am not moved by external pressure where I have to hold a ceremony in the presence of some people to prove a bond between my wife and I.
“I don’t see such things as important. I know the child we have together is more powerful than ring, marriage, customs and all that. My focus is how to cater for my wife and child in a responsible way.
“My criteria for a woman who will carry my baby is someone who has a good heart and loves people. I select the women who I want to give birth for me. None was by accident.”
Wanlov said three of his ‘wives’ were outside Ghana studying midwifery but one was in Ghana working as a fruit seller at Dzorwulu in Accra.
When asked by Delay whether he was living an exemplary life as a role model to several young persons, Wanlov expressed shock he was being considered as a role model.
“I am not a role model. I am a musician. I am a ‘kubolor’ and I have not asked anyone to make me a role model. I just do what I like,” he noted.
It's time to talk about homosexuality and lesbianism – Desmond Elliot
Award winning Nigerian actor now turned movie
producer and director, Desmond Elliot says Africans must feel free to
discuss the issue of homosexuality and lesbianism openly since the act
is prevalent in society. The award winning actor was speaking to Myjoyonline.com on the release of his new movie In the Cupboard which is incidentally centered around lesbianism among other social issues mostly relegated to the background.
Desmond said he is expecting the release of his new movie to stimulate the debate about what he described as the social problem which many Africans are quick to brand as a “no go area”.
The movie, which was premiered last month in some major cities in the United States, is scheduled to be released later this week.
Desmond Elliot, being relatively a new comer to movie directing and producing, also bemoaned the high prevalence of piracy in the African movie industry; a problem he said was eroding the gains being made by the industry.
Desmond believed that African governments are not doing enough to protect the creative arts industry, leaving them at the mercy of other big players who bully them.
It is time governments consider incentives such as decrement in cinema taxes among others to make the industry more attractive, Desmond insisted.
D-Black questions the credibility of the 4Syte TV MVAs
D-Black made it known to Ghana Music.com that 4Syte TV Music Video Awards is a shame to our industry.
D-Black revealed that he didn’t want to be part of the award from the start but members of the 4Syte Awards organization convinced me on their behalf and promised that it will be organized well.
“Someone or some people called 4Syte TV sit in their homes and create an award show. This is not a national award, this is a privatized award show”, he said.
Before continuing D-Black made mention that from henceforth, 4Syte TV should not nominate him or any of his works at their award shows because Ghana deserves a much better award system.
D-Black also said 4Syte TV failed to bring out the time frame under which a music video falls in for nomination. “My video VERA is 2 months old and you nominate it? Really? EL's KAALU is 5 weeks old and you nominate it?”
D-Black asked back to back questions as to where is the transparency in voting also? What is the voting system? What percentage does the public receive via voting and the panel also? Why are all these not drawn out for us to know? Why would you use YFM's short code for your voting text line? Are you serious?
“Look at the Ghana Music Awards. These are all clearly defined. The 4Syte MVA categories don’t even have descriptions”, he said.
D-Black accepted that he won the Best Collaboration Music Video of the Year with Mo’ Cheddah for ‘Falling’ but still stands by his words that Ghana deserves a much better music video award scheme.

Efya Shows Boobs & Floors Critics

| Efya |
Twenty-four-year-old singer Efya certainly caused female tongues to wag and male eyes to yearn for more when she appeared on stage last Saturday with a costume that largely exposed her pear-shaped breasts.
If Efya had bigger boobs, they would have certainly popped out of her dress to take a peep at the audience and also get peeped at.
Efya did not wear a bra to hide her sexy pair of succulent boobs when she performed during the Miss Ghana 2012 finals in a plunging outfit that exposed her boobs.
As expected, several members of the audience started cat-calling and passing comments about the singer’s boobs while they enjoyed her performance.
Since then, some of the pictures have started circulating on Facebook and other social media sites, generating rather interesting comments.
It is difficult to say if Efya had a wardrobe malfunction. She has over the years remained rather fashion conscious and when there were wild allegations about her lifestyle and behavior, she hit back at her critics, insisting she was brought up in a good home by her celebrity mother, Nana Adwoa Awindor, the popular host of rested TV programme, ‘Greetings from Abroad’.
“Yes, my mother brought me up well. My mother is a very tough person and she taught me a lot in my life and I believe that she is the person who made me, who I am right now. I am grateful to her, God bless my mother,” she told NEWS-ONE in an exclusive interview then.
“I leave a liberal life. I am very conscious, so I believe that everybody has a chance to do whatever they want to as long as you put your mind to it and apart from that I believe that you make yourself.
So I do what I want to do and I do it how I want to do it with whom I want to do it with. And as long as I believe in it and I have a positive energy towards it, I do and know that it is going to work out.
That is me. I plan for stuff that are supposed to be planned for and let the rest go because I believe that in life, God has a purpose for everybody and that everything that happens has meaning,” she also said about claims that she was a bad girl.
Wanlov lashes MTN 4Syte VMA’s 2012 for bias
Barely some few hours after the 2012 Edition of the 4Syte Music Video
Awards came to an end, outspoken and often tagged as controversial
artist who describes himself as “Ashanti heart, Ga Spirit, Hausa Vim,
Yankee Yo Yo, Romanian Blood, Gypsy Soul and Future emperor of earth”,
Wanlov Da Kubolor has lashed out at the event organizers for awarding
some undeserving artists.Although touching on Becca’s “No Away” video,
his main concentration was on the popular music video category.
Wanlov who states he is a fan of E.L however believes “Kaalu” video did not deserve the most popular award at the awards event as “Vera video seff popular pass kaalu”.
Critically analyzing and asking what popular meant, Wanlov was shocked as to how E.L’s “Kaalu” video could be more popular than his sister Deborah Vanessa’s Uncle Obama’s video which had had more than four times the views of E.L’s video.
In a tweet, Wanlov said; “Maybe i no talk am well. Kaalu vid n Uncle Obama vid com out same exact day. In which part of d world was kaalu vid more popular?
This question immediately tickled the minds of many of his followers on twitter who really assessed the situation with mixed reactions as some judged the awards as corrupt and bias.
