I CAN'T DATE ANY BLACK STARS PLAYER...THEY HAVE ALL BEEN USED, MISUSED & ABUSED

Allsports.com.gh (ASG) writer Nana Afrane Asante caught up with Valentine Diamond Nana Agyeiwaa, host of the Afia Schwarzenegger talk show on ETV and Kokooko on UTV as she shares her views on sports in Ghana.

She believes the Black Stars will be a failure at the World Cup and thinks Akwasi Appiah doesn’t have a mind of his own as head coach of the team. She’s also got a new name for her darling club Accra Hearts of Oak and check out her reasons for wanting to date the Sports minister.

ASG: Are you a sports fan?

AS: Yes and No

ASG: Why yes and no?

AS: You don’t put your heart into sports in a country like Ghana especially football because it can cause you cardiac imprisonment which may lead you to your grave but when it comes to the English Premier league, then I support Chelsea.

ASG: Which is your favorite sport?

AS: Wrestling because I love to see people beating people.

ASG: Have you ever tried wrestling?

AS: No I haven’t because I don’t want to have scratches on my body. I have always been a “DADA BA” so I take good care of my body.

ASG: Do you watch the Black Stars play?

AS: I do and it’s quite annoying. I say that because they are very predictable and every Ghanaian knows we will only get to a certain stage in a tournament and it’s even worse when we don’t have our star players. From what I know, Coach Akwasi Appiah in some cases prophesizes that he is going out there to lose a game. Let’s take a look at our opponents Germany, Portugal and the USA, can you tell me who we can beat? I don’t see that happening. My advice to Ghanaians is that they should support Berekum Chelsea rather than put their hopes in the Black Stars because there is no hope in them and I can tell you we will come home early.

ASG: Who are we?

AS: I’m surprised you don’t know who they are. Well it’s the Black Stars and that’s it.

ASG: Who are your favorite Black Stars Players?

AS: Sulley Muntari is my favorite and I say that because he is a game changer. Dede Ayew isn’t bad too but Asamoah Gyan seems to be more focused on music than his footballing career. He prefers to be seen on TV dancing and shaking his buttocks with his Otto Pfister pants showing and it’s very worrying. The hip life has gotten so much into his head that he seems to have lost interest in football. A player like Kevin might be a difficult person but he is definitely a good player.

ASG: Do you believe in Akwasi Appiah?

AS: I do and I don’t because he makes certain decisions on and off the pitch which reminds me of a certain President I know who was being controlled by a remote control during his time in office and that’s exactly the same problem Akwasi Appiah is facing. I strongly suspect he is being controlled by a remote which puts us in danger going into this World Cup. I still believe we have a 98% chance of coming back home in the first round.

ASG: Which player would you like to date?

AS: Eeeiiii Black Stars players? They have all been used, misused and abused so there is no way I can date any of them so I will rather go in for the sports minister who has already promised me a trip to Brazil to watch the world cup when I was the mc for the 1963 Black Star squad meeting. I want him to know that if he doesn’t fulfill his promise, I will let the gods deal with him.

ASG: What local team do you support?

AS: Hearts of SHOCK

ASG: Which team is Hearts of SHOCK?

AS: Hmmmm, the Phobian club we all know. They are breaking my heart and I want the coach to be sacked. My advice to him is that he should quit before he gets beaten by we the supporters. I am sure he will be fired also after he’s taken some beating from us.

ASG: What is your general impression about sports in Ghana?

AS: Sports is the only activity which takes away tribalism, violence, religious differences and every other negative so I think we should encourage it in our schools especially. I am would have loved to see some of my friends like Kwaw Kesse and Shatawele play football which would have been beautiful.

Sports in Ghana have developed and a lot more attention should be given to it and this is where I plead with the GFA to release the monies to promote the local league. Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi has to know that god is watching his every move with the money so he should be careful. That’s my advice but I am ready to be an ambassador for the team in Brazil only if I am paid a winning bonus.

"TIME WILL TELL" ...KKD ADVISES ALL BLACKS BLEACHING THEIR SKIN

Ace Ghanaian broadcaster Mr. Kwasi Kyei Darkwa aka KKD ‘The Finest’ has reacted after Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson stated in an interview with KOD on GH One Entertainment TV that she is disappointed in KKD for making some comments on Peace FM’s “Entertainment Review” that she (Yvonne) is bleaching.

“And I heard that KKD said in an interview that I have bleached my skin. I am so disappointed in him”, Yvonne said.

KKD has in response (though Indirect) to Yvonne’s interview, sent a word of advice to all black celebrities and public personalities who use chemicals to change their skin colour.

Many otherwise pretty women today have weak skins on burnt faces, bosoms, arms, thighs and legs caused by the bleaching they denied they were doing in their youth.

Whilst bleaching remains off the radar in many educated & well-to-do African and Caribbean homes, it is saddening that the poor, illiterates in dire need of any passing act to imitate may just photocopy this needless practice of bleaching to the point where their elbows and knees will be nearly opposite in complexion to their cheeks and bosoms. Men, women, boys and girls are equally gullible as evidenced by some performers and their herd of sheep.

Black comes in many beautiful shades and hues; from the deepest ebony and mahogany to the richest chocolate and the softest caramel. From the beautiful and dignified Lupita Nyong'o, the dark and lovely Ini Edo and Emelia Brobbey through the sweet and sexy Jackie Appiah and Martha Ankomah, the classy Mrs Beyonce Carter, Mrs Afua Amoah Amofah And Halle Berry to the happy Juliet Ibrahim and Tracee Ellis Ross and many many more popular and unknown.

It is possible to be born this way and to LOVE THE BLACK YOU ARE IN.

UTI CONFIRMS DATING R&B SINGER

Uti Nwachukwu who has made buzz since he was associated with Eku Edewor as a gay has finally proven his critics wrong by confirming hi relationship with R&B singer Seun Oni who is better known as Saeon.

He has been silent over who he is dating until now that he has decided to clear the air.

He reveals: ‘It is true that I and Saeon are seeing each other and we are taking it one step at a time. I don’t know how it came to the knowledge of the public. Saeon likes her privacy just like me too’ Though, Saeon has not denied or confirmed the story

She only said ‘It is out there already, I don’t want to confirm or deny anything. I am only focused on my music. I’m releasing a song which features Wizkid tomorrow and that’s my only concern for now,’

However, a source said they are not dating : ‘Uti is not dating Saeon, he is just trying to show off so people will stop tagging him as gay. It is a perfect match with Saeon, because she on the other hand is trying to promote her music. Any publicity now, whether good or bad will help her career’.

The reality lovebirds were spotted in a decorative mask very close to each other and happy together at a celebrity mask party for the official launch of Tempt cider drink in Ghana on Valentine’s Day at the La Villa Boutique.

They looked all loved up despite Elikem being linked to soccer star Odarley Lamptey’s marriage scandal and Elikem stating recently that Ghanaian ladies are better than Zimbabwean ladies.

LAZZY OF VIP LOSES HIS MOTHER

Credible report reaching us indicates the loss of the mother of Zeal, formerly known as Lazzy of Hiplife group VIP.

Details other than the direct cause of death are unsure but news coming from the Boogie Down Nima camp is that she was sick.

The musician is said to be devastated and heartbroken as he was very close to his mom.

We express out sincere condolences to the Zeal. May the soul of this Great Woman rest in peace.

“I’M CANCER FREE” - BIG BROTHER AFRICA WINNER

2011 Big Brother Africa winner, Karen Igho Wednesday informed her followers that she is cancer free having left for treatment in London.

The On air personality took to twitter to thank her fans and supporters for the prayers while she was away.

She wrote “@KarenIgho So happy,I’m cancer free.Thank you all for your prayers and support.God bless you all.”

“@KarenIgho Thank you Lord for giving me a second chance to live.I will praise you forever.”

Karen had informed her followers that she was diagnosed of cancer and shortly after proceeded to take off the lumps found on her..

She concluded “@KarenIgho Karenified peeps thank you for your support.I love you guys”

If there is one thing that popular Kumasi based actor Kojo Nkansah a.k.a DJ Lil Win, has ever wanted to do, it is to put smiles on the faces of the needy, especially physically and mentally challenged children and he did just that on February 14 when he celebrated Valentine Day’s with kids from the New Horizon and Dzorwulu Special Schools in Accra.

Not only did the humorous actor danced and interacted with the children but he also presented assorted food items and an undisclosed amount of money on behalf of F&B Consult and Cocoa Processing Company (CPC) limited to the two schools.

He also used the opportunity to officially invite the children to the KIDS PLAY AND LEARN WITH LIL WIN’, event which comes off at the El-Wak stadium on Saturday, February 22, 2014.

According to Lil Wayne, he chose to celebrate his Valentine’s Day with the kids because of the special liking he has for them. “I love kids especially the challenged ones from Dzorwulu and New Horizon schools with all my heart and I thought the best way to make the occasion a special one for them was to join them to celebrate’.

Mrs. Francois, founder of New Horizon School, thanked Lil Wayne and officials of F&B Consults and CPC for their kind gesture and requested other well-to-do individuals and organizations to emulate them.

The ‘KIDS PLAY AND LEARN WITH LIL WIN’, event will be a big gathering for school kids in Accra and its environs to come together to play games, dance to good music and learn at the same time.

The event, a brain-child of F&B Consults is expected to bring regular school kids and their challenged colleagues from the Dzorwulu Special School and the New Horizon School to interact and play together for the first time.

Apart from Lil Win, who will host the program, the event will also attract popular film and music personalities including Jackie Appiah, Yvonne Okoro, Nana Ama Mcbrown, Yvonne Nelson, John Dumelo, Zac Bentum, Omar Sheriff captan, Mr. Beautiful, Guru, Rosaline Ngissah and many others.

The celebrities and the kids will engage in several games like five- a-side football, bouncy castle, tug of war, and athletics whilst singing and dancing to splendid music from their favourite artistes. Some of the film stars will captain and lead the various kids’ teams to battle each other for supremacy.

There will be a special Azonto dance and singing competition between Lil Wayne and selected kids, with winners taking home special packages.

He has also promised to teach the kids dancing skills and a dose of comedy, which he is noted for. The comic actor is also expected to engage selected school children in spelling competition.
