Kontihene might have bitten more than
he can chew. He just made one statement against Kwaw Kese but it seems
the man ‘insane’ can’t let those statement lay to rest without replying.
After Kwaw said that a man was created to be fearful and that
is why he looks as such, he has again disclosed to myjoyonline.com that
Kontihene just want to retain his dead fame hence, hitting hard at him
Kwaw with such unnecessary comments. He added that he faked his marriage
just to pull publicity stunts to get people’s attention.
Rapper
Kwaw Kese says recent disparaging comments made against him by fellow
musician Kontihene are just a ruse to resuscitate Kontihene’s dead
career.
Kontihene is reported to have stated in a recent interview on OKAY FM that there is no way he can be compared to Kwaw Kese.
According
to him, “I am wiser than him, I am more presentable as well as more
educated, our way of dressing is even different and on top of it, I am
more handsome then he is.”
Kwaw Kese, also known as ‘Abodam’
speaking in an interview with Myjoyonline.com laughed off the comments
stating Kontihene is just being childish.
“I heard Kontihene is
trying to use my name to resurrect his dead career. I think that is a
mistake and it’s childish. He can’t do that he’s been dead for ten years
and you can’t use me as a way to resurrect your career,” he said.
The
‘King of the Street’, said “We all know that he is trying to use me to
resurrect his dead career and I won’t help him do that.”
Born
Emmanuel Abrompah Botchwey, the rapper alleged that Kontihene’s marriage
to his heartthrob Dulcie Omane Boateng in Sunyani on Saturday, January
18, was just a publicity stunt.
“This is one person who has even
faked the marriage to shoot his name back to fame. He is trying whatever
possible to come back into the game. The marriage is basically a
publicity stunt,” he alleged and added that he doubts if Kontihene is
truly married.
Reacting to Kontihene’s comments that he is
handsomer than Kwaw Kese, The King of the Street said, “I don’t want to
be handsome. I want to be an ugly [fearful] man…”
Kwaw Kese
believes a song – ‘Nonsense’ – he released about ten years ago with a
slight reference to Kontihene’s song – ‘Megizigi’ – is still eating him
up.
He said it does not make sense for Kontihene, born Emmanuel
Nana Appiah Boateng, to make derogatory comments about him because of
song released 10 years ago.

Musician and dancer, Ebenezer Asare
aka Slim Busterr, yesterday disclosed that preparations are far advanced
for him to get married to his sweetheart at a red carpet event.
Slim
Busterr, told 'Beatwaves' that things are moving on well for him and
that sooner or later his numerous fans will hear the wedding bells.
Slim
said being in a relationship posed some challenges to him because as a
star every woman he dated expected so much from him, and when they did
not realise their expectations, they felt cheated along the line, making
it difficult to continue with the relationship.
Asked about his
relationship status, he quickly said with a smile, "I'm now at the point
of my life when I'm ready to get married, and that is what I am
looking for in a relationship because I feel the desire to settle down".
He
said he is in a relationship with a lady and if things work according
to plan he might get married soon to the surprise of all.
The
dancer-cum-musician claimed he has never relaxed in his music career as
people perceived but has been working on his upcoming album which will
hit the airwaves pretty soon.
Since joining the music industry,

among his contemporaries and continues to giant strides on the music
scene through his creativity. Today, the name Slim Busterr, has become a
household name in Ghana.
After releasing his album in 2008, he
disappeared from the scene and left his fans, colleagues and some of the
stakeholders in the creative industry wondering if they would ever set
eyes on him again on stage.
Explaining reasons why he abandoned
his musical career, Slim Busterr disclosed that along the line he got
fed up with the music business in Ghana.
"For the past several
years, I have remained what others would consider underground. I did
this in order to do other businesses including importation of musical
equipment and movie production. To those fans who were told that I
abandoned them, that is untrue. I only took a break to work on some
projects which needed urgent attention."
Slim Busterr who is
currently working on his new album to be released in March this year and
a television series, said he kept his life relatively simple working
behind closed doors because his fans were still expecting more from him.
Slim
Busterr entered the music industry in 1986, after he won the 1986
National Dance Championship competition. Twenty years on, Slim
considers himself to be a very successful musician: "To me I have been

He later left the shores of Ghana for UK to study Music and Sound Engineering.
On
his return to Ghana, Slim Busterr decided take up music as a full time
job, hence he established his own recording studio at Darkuman Junction

The Rivalry between dance-hall
musicians Samini and Shatta Wale has taken an interesting twist even as
the two get ready to go on a live programme on UTV for a ‘tell-it-all’
debate that would also be broadcast live on Peace FM.
Samini
first threw the challenge to Shatta for them to go on national
television and engage in a debate to enable the general public know the
whole truth about the disagreement between them, and Shatta accepted.
Samini
called for the debate when he spoke to Akwasi Aboagye on Peace FM’s
Entertainment Review last Saturday and alleged that in the past the
Chief Executive of Bullhaus Entertainment, Bull Dog came to him and
asked for permission to go beat up Shatta Wale.
“His manager,
Bull Dog, years back would meet back stage and tell me that he wants to
beat that guy (Shatta Wele) for me because the guy was fooling and he
(Bull Dog) only wants clearance from me to beat him up. Today, Bull Dog
is behaving as if he has a fight with me because he manages Shatta. But
Bull Dog knows he used to come to my shows, remove his shirts, breathing
profusely, jumping up and down and sweating all over. You Bull Dog,
today, because you oppose me, you sit on TV to say my brand is not
marketable,” Samini revealed.
Incidentally, Bull Dog is Shatta’s
manager and he has taken a strong exception to the allegation from
Samini, describing it as blatant untruth.
“Samini is a liar, I
have never ever told him that I wanted to beat up Shatta Wale for him.
Rather I spoke to Shatta Wale in the past to stop insulting Samini
during his performances.
I even added jokingly that (Shatta Wale)
was doing fine without Samini so he should concentrate on his career
and forget about Samini. I remember playfully telling Shatta some three
years ago that if he doesn’t put a stop to that behaviour, I will give
him a few punches. I’m not at Samini’s camp and I don’t manage him so
what will I gain if I had told him that?” Bull Dog noted in an exclusive
interview with News-One.
He continue: “All these things are
lies; I don’t take off any shirt in public. I love Dancehall, I respect
Samini and I enjoy his music but I’m not a fanatic like that. He told a
series of lies on that day. I just want people to be truthful and honest
in their submissions.”
Many people have raised several concerns about what seems to be bad blood between Samini’s group and Shatta’s camp.
News-One
has gathered that arrangements are underway for the debate to be
organized in the studios of Peace FM, as well as on UTV.

Rap Artiste Kwaw Kese has rendered an
unqualified apology to organizers of the just ended Vodafone Icons
after he accused them of trying to extort money from him to decide on
the winner of the contest.
Kwaw recounted on Peace FM that since
he hijacked the stage at the finals of the Vodafone Icons and incited
his fans against the organizers, corporate bodies in Ghana have refused
to book him for their events.
“Because of the stunt I pulled on
the Vodafone stage some time ago, most of the Corporate companies don’t
call on me for shows and other things any longer. I just want to tell
Vodafone that if I have offended them in anyway, we are all human so I
want to use this opportunity to apologize to Vodafone for what
happened,” Kwaw Kese stated.
It could be recalled that Kwaw Kese
went ballistic after his younger brother, Buda, was eliminated from the
final round of the Vodafone Icons reality show. Even though he had not
been able to substantiate any of his claims, the ‘Man Insane’ alleged
that a member of the organizing team asked him to pay GH10,000 in order
for Buda to win.
“Oh yeah the guys at Vodafone are like my
colleagues and I have realized that what I did on that very day did not
go down well with them. We have to promote peace. I just want to say
that I’m sorry for what I did. We all have to come together to promote
the showbiz industry and move Ghana forward so I just have to eat in the
peace bowl with them and just move on,” he added.
Telecommunication
giants, Vodafone Ghana officially dissociated itself from Kwaw Kese’s
allegation and are yet to accept the apology.
