The story of Iyanya and the Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson is not something that will be forgotten easily.

News says the sexy actress parted ways with rave of the moment artiste, Iyanya when she told him about marriage and the young talent declined.

"Yvonne wanted to take her relationship with Iyanya to the next level but they weren’t on the same page. In fact, I have spoken to a source who told me that Yvonne actually told Iyanya she wanted marriage, but his reactions shocked her. Yvonne sat down and told Iyanya that she wanted to get even more serious and take the next steps in their relationship."

Yvonne was said to have told him that she wanted to have him as hubby and but he wasn’t keen on the idea because he felt it's too early to talk about those things.

“She told him she loved him and would love him forever,” the source stated.

The source goes on to explain why Yvonne was so hurt: “When a lady tell you she loves you and wants to be serious with you and start a real life with you and maybe even have you as husband, you turn her down. That’s all bad. Like game over.” 

SOME PEOPLE WANT ME DEAD

Scary reports started spreading yesterday morning that reigning Actor of the Year Van Vicker was involved in a life threatening accident on his way to church on Sunday.

“Gollywood/Nollywood actor Van Vicker had a very terrible accident this morning on his way to church. He’s suffering from internal bleeding gushing out through the mouth, the doctors said he may lose his life but we do not agree. Let us pray; O Lord we join hands today and decree that you save his life today, we believe that you can heal him in the mighty name of Jesus. Please type ‘Amen’ if you wish him quick recovery”, was the report put out on a facebook page belonging to the name ‘Nadia Buari’.

The page, that has over 6400 followers, has the photos of Ghanaian actress Nadia Buari and says it is the “The ONLY official Facebook page of award winning African movie star, Nadia Buari.”

Fans of Van Vicker who saw the post started praying for him and wishing him a speedy recovery throughout the day while the report continued to spread fast on social media.

Some of them even called NEWS-ONE to verify the report, prompting the paper to place a phone call to Van Vicker’s phone to find out his condition.

“These people have speculated my death more than 10 times. I do not know what they want but it could be they just want me dead. They can’t kill me. I am not even in the country so how can anyone say I had an accident on my way to church this morning. Chief, just relax and take it easy. I am fine and very healthy. There is nothing happening to me,” Van Vicker told NEWS-ONE.

The actor later took to his facebook page to further address the issue by writing: “There is a post on an imposter’s page that I had an accident this morning on my way to church and I might die from bleeding. It is a rumour and a stunt to drive traffic to that page. I am well and in great health. Jehovah dey by my side. Stay Eeasy.”

Though the said page is strongly suspected to be a fake ‘Nadia Buari’, it has the exact details of the famous actress.This is how it describes the owner of the page: “My life tells a long story short of an apt and adventurous actress of Africa, born into the family of art…Born in Takoradi in the Western Region of Ghana, I am the daughter of Alhaji and Hajia Sidiku Buari. My father is a very huge figure in the Industry of Art in Ghana, holding several positions including that of being the president of the Musicians Union of Ghana. His leaderships extend beyond the boundaries of Ghana into the international world where he holds very key positions such as the Vice President of International Federation of Musicians. Also as a successful producer, director, musician and actor, his influence in my life is obvious and evident in my present career as an actress.

“My mother, who is a beautician on the other hand, has been the secret behind my looks since childhood. As the first child of the family, I have always pushed to desire the accomplishment of Herculean tasks, a tendency that makes me an inspiration to both my siblings and friends and more especially, to children who I love and who look up to me as someone to learn from while I also consider them as my best friends to learn from…”

The Ghanaian actress has, however, not made any public comment on the incident.

Actor Prince David Osei is either two timing or has dumped a lady he secretly engaged as far back as 2011, as he has been spotted with a beautiful lady believed to be his new girlfriend.

It will be recalled that the actor secretly got engaged to a woman, whose name was given as Nana Ama Asieduaa. The woman who also happens to be the mother of his three year old son, was an employee of intercontinental Bank, Ghana at the time.

The “Supremo” actor confirmed his engagement to Asieduwaa in an interview then saying “Yea I got engaged traditionally but the white wedding is yet to happen”. For some reason their white wedding never saw the light of day and a new lady is now warming his bed after almost two years even though he has not stated anywhere that he is no more together with the woman he got engaged to.

Peacefmonline.com investigations have revealed the name of the actor’s new girlfriend as Theresa Naa Banafoe and according a source close to the actor; Theresa and Prince have been together for over a year now and they seem to be so much in love.

Prince David Osei was spotted with his hot and sexy girlfriend, at the City People Entertainment Awards nominees’ party at the Exel Lounge few months ago, they were seen together at the launch of 4Syte TV Music Video Awards launch at the Silverstar towers, Airport City Accra on October 4 and the last time they were seen together in public was last Friday October 25 at the National Theatre during the premiere of Juliet Ibrahim’s “Number One Fan”.

Considering the fact that his relationship with his baby mama was kept away from the media but he is seen everywhere with his new lover, It is clear Prince David Osei's baby mama Nana Ama is completely out of the picture now.

KEITTA CHEATED WITH TINNY’S EX-GIRLFRIEND - EAZZY REVEALS

She’s been in the news for all the right reasons this year; from her impeccable hosting at the Ghana Music Awards, her recent banger and of course her just ended UK trip.

TERRY BONCHAKA'S MOTHER SUSPECTS TERRY WAS MURDERED!

Madam Charlotte Adjetey, the mother of the late talented musician, Terry Bonchaka, believes that her son did not die a natural death.

According to his mother, the ‘Poulele’ hitmaker was killed as events that led to his sudden demise were suspicious and unbelievable. Real name Terrence Nii Okang Mensah Adjetey, then a 21-year-old, died on Friday October 31, 2003 after performing at the Akuafo Hall of the University of Ghana in their Hall Week Celebration.

Adjetey met his untimely death in a fatal accident on the Legon-Madina road when the vehicle in which he was riding, together with friend Rasta, suddenly veered off the road and hit a tree. He was pronounced dead at the 37 Military Hospital. Speaking in an exclusive interview with TV3, an obviously sad and worried but relaxed mother spoke truly as a mother who truly knew her son. In Ghanaian tradition, it is believed that when the body of a dead person looks different from when the person was alive; it means the person did not die a natural death.

The change of face or a frown on the face of the body shows that the person is not happy with his or her demise. Consequently, when the remains look so much like when the person was alive, it is said to be a sign of a natural death.

Madam Charlotte Adjetey said she discovered a little mishap on the neck of her son, which gave her the indication that; indeed, her son was not called to rest by the Almighty God, and that there were some hidden hands at work somewhere.

She observed: “When they brought the body [Terry Bonchaka's remains] out … when you look at the neck, [it] was as if something has been done to the neck, so [for] me, I think something happened to him before [she paused for a while] they hit that tree … that’s what I can say,” she said in a shaking voice.

According to her, when she’s watching other musicians on television who started just like her son, “I just look at them and say if my boy [son] would have been here; maybe it would be more beautiful more than this. But they are also trying, they are doing well.”

She therefore advised musicians to be careful of persons they call friends, as not all friends are friends.

“They [musicians] should be careful of themselves because out there, it’s not the way you see it. There is something that you people should very be careful of, because not all friends are friends.” Terry Bonchaka left behind tunes such as Poulele, Ghana Lady, Lomnava, Bonchaka-ta, African Chow, Zoozey, Nkabom, Sweetie, Chichinapi, Ewurade, Kaasha Flash and others. 

SOMEBODY SHOULD STOP BLAKK RASTA!

It is no news that radio presenter and musician, Blakk Rasta and fellow musician, Wanlov The Kubolor have had a long standing feud which has resulted in the trading of words between the two for a while now. It is also no news that Blakk Rasta slapped Wanlov The Kubolor at the premises of the Multimedia Group in Accra last Friday. The incident has been buzzing hot over the last few days and has attracted a lot of discussions on some of the entertainment shows on different radio stations as well as on some websites and social media forums on the internet. The two of them spoke about it on Peace FM’s Entertainment Review programme last Saturday. My concern here is not to discuss the matter or the merits thereof (as that falls to the abused person and the police to deal with) but rather to tell somebody, whoever it is, who is in charge that, it was about time he/she brought Blakk Rasta to order. Blakk Rasta has been hosting the lunchtime programme on Hitz FM known as Taxi Driver since moving to the station from Happy FM for some time now. It is a show on which he plays reggae music alongside social commentary. The show gives Blakk Rasta the freedom and liberty to criticise anybody who needs to be criticised for what they did wrongly or even didn’t do and he has managed to keep a lot of people on their toes because they know they could appear wrongly on his show. As the industry people will know, Hitz FM is not among the most listened to stations either within the Multimedia Group or on the wider scale among stations operating in the nation’s capital. The Ipsos monthly diaries show it hoovers around 9th, 10th and 11th positions on monthly basis. It must be pointed out also that Blakk Rasta’s show is the most listened to on the channel and the likely driver of the general listenership and the concomitant modest position the station enjoys. Which means that but for Blakk Rasta the station would probably be further down the ‘food chain’ than it is now. So he is the star boy of the station, the jewel in their crown and the apple of their eye, but that should not give him the fiat and the garage to do whatever he wants and get away with it. Somebody has to let Blakk Rasta know that there are limits to everything. Not too long ago, the news leaked out that Blakk Rasta had a small misunderstanding with his work colleague, DJ Awana and before anybody could say ‘shogologobangoshie’ he had slapped the latter in the studios of Hitz FM. That action led the management of the station to give him a mild punishment when they sent him on a two week suspension and asked him to apologise to DJ Awana. Perhaps that punishment was not severe enough and maybe the reason he thinks he could do it to another person. Granted, Wanlov may not be the nicest guy in town and he can really get under your skin with some of his comments and actions (you have to follow him on Twitter or be his friend on Facebook to get the proper meaning of this) but this is not the jungle and we don’t go about like Tarzan slapping people we disagree with. I have said that Blakk Rasta criticises people on his shows from top government officials through security chiefs to the lowest person. He is within his rights to do so. I have been writing a column on radio and television presenters for 13 years and as part of that I have criticised many people, programmes and stations and in the process, I have stepped on many toes. Imagine all the people our criticisms are targeted at feel offended and decide to give us slaps, would Blakk Rasta and I have survived it till now? It is good to have issues with what people do or say about us, but in civilised societies, those issues are spoken about and dealt with without any resort to slaps. Slapping two people including a work colleague in such a short time is nothing to be condoned and Blakk Rasta should be told so in no uncertain terms. Indeed, somebody has to be able to stop the reggae artiste and presenter from slapping another person. Who knows, that next person to be slapped could be yours truly for having the audacity to ask that Blakk Rasta should be stopped from enjoying his stay in this gangster’s paradise he is trying to occupy!
